Happy MLK Day

Today’s the day where we celebrate MLK’s birthday. While I’m always overjoyed that we’re devoting time to discussing a central figure in civil rights, as I’ve become more “woke”, I’ve realized that MLK is tailored in a way where white society feels entirely comfortable using his words against black people who are still fighting for their civil rights. So I wanted to share this quote with you: Whites, it must frankly be said, are not putting in a similar mass effort to reeducate themselves out of their racial ignorance. It is an aspect of their sense of superiority that the white people of America believe they have so little to learn.
